A large moth trap designed for surveying and observing with hinged interlocking roof panels. Contains the Gardner Light Bar - 2 twin 40W actinic lamps plus a single Halogen A 150W lamp mounted centrally. Operated together, the power of attraction and retention is increased. The unit is constructed from special quality perspex which allows all UV-A light to pass through unimpeded. This ensures there are no shadows cast in or around the trap. The trap dismantles flat for easy storage and transportation. Like the Skinner trap, a sheet should be placed underneath the Gardner trap.
