Spring

Resident Birds start to get ready for the breeding season, when they must be in peak health if they are to raise a brood of chicks.

Summer

Its this time of year that the brittish bird population is at its highest, due to lots of fledgings leaving the nest!
Natural sources of food such as berries & seeds are not ripe, so it's important to continue providing foods in the garden.
Also a great time to promote water in the garden, with bird baths and water dishes.

Autumn

Less bird food is consumed at this time of year due to natural sources being high, so its a good time to replace bird feeders and bird tables.

Winter

With the short days comes a hive of activity, with birds only having 8 hours daylight to consume enough food for the energy to survive the cold nights.
