Hedgehog/Mammal Habitats - HH1 Hedgehog House

Attractive and of a unique design, the original Hedgehog House provides a safe habitat for hedgehogs in the garden. Suitable for hibernation, breeding and Summer shelter.

Siting:Locate within cover, out of prevailing wind. Pile leaves and short grass around the House plus two hand fulls of short dry grass and leaves inside the box to start nest.

This natural habitat made from chunky FSC Certified Timber and natural log is an ideal habitat for Ladybirds and Lacewings. Lacewings, so easily overlooked, are great consumers of greenfly. During their development the larvae eat as many as 500 greenfly so are very useful in the garden.
